BAKUN AC HYDRO POWER PROJECT

Installation of 1,266 meters, 2.10 meters diameter Steel Liners of 9.6 km. tunnel

Putzmeister concrete pumps set a new record pumping concrete of over 1,300 meters (the longest distance in South East Asia) to install 1,266 meters of 2.10m diameter steel liners at Sta. Clara International Corporation's US $30 Million 9.57 km tunneling project for the Bakun Hydro Power Project in Benguet, Ilocos Sur and La Union. This record setting Sta. Clara Project has a Super High Pressure Putzmeister BSA 2110 HPD used as a workhorse and BSA 1409D for cleaning pipelines.
